The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign is celebrated across Arunachal, actively mobilizing communities for cleanliness initiatives. From public spaces to schools and residential areas, the emphasis is on waste management, sanitation, and raising environmental awareness.
Arunachal's SHS activities include large-scale clean-up drives, tree plantations, and awareness programs, aimed at encouraging citizens to contribute towards maintaining cleanliness in their localities. These efforts not only focus on waste collection but also on educating communities about sustainable practices, recycling, and the long-term benefits of maintaining a clean environment. The active participation of youth, government officials, and various organizations demonstrates a collective responsibility towards a cleaner and healthier Arunachal.
With the 2024 campaign coming to an end on 2nd October, however, we must join the overall Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in our community regularly? Share your thoughts and ideas on making Arunachal Pradesh a cleaner, greener state!
Join the discussion on MyGov:
• What steps can be taken to ensure the success of such campaigns in rural and remote areas?
• How can we encourage more participation, especially from the youth and schools?
