In a significant step towards empowering grassroots governance, recently, the State Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (SIRD), Arunachal Pradesh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tribhuvan Sahkari University-IRMA, Gujarat. The signing took place in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri Ojing Tasing.
Key objectives of this collaboration include:
- Capacity building and training to upskill grassroots functionaries
- Joint research and policy engagement to inform evidence-based planning
- Evaluation and strengthening of training curricula to reflect emerging rural challenges
- Knowledge sharing to integrate innovative practices across both institutions
The collaboration envisions a long-term, impactful engagement that aligns with sustainable rural development goals.
