Equipped with modern facilities such as protected cultivation, a hi-tech nursery, mother and demo blocks, R&D initiatives, post-harvest and value-addition infrastructure, training modules, and essential utilities, the Centre will act as a catalyst for growth.
Beyond boosting production, this initiative promises to empower farmers with knowledge, create livelihoods, and open fresh market opportunities for Arunachal’s produce. The state is poised to emerge as India’s kiwi capital by focusing on value addition and advanced practices.

(a) Patience:- Kiwi vines can take several years to produce their first marketable fruit,
with significant crops appearing after four to five years.
(b) Harvest Time:- Fruit is ready for harvest when it has reached its full size and has a
minimum Brix (sugar content) of 6.2, depending on the species and climate.
