Equipped with modern facilities such as protected cultivation, a hi-tech nursery, mother and demo blocks, R&D initiatives, post-harvest and value-addition infrastructure, training modules, and essential utilities, the Centre will act as a catalyst for growth.
Beyond boosting production, this initiative promises to empower farmers with knowledge, create livelihoods, and open fresh market opportunities for Arunachal’s produce. The state is poised to emerge as India’s kiwi capital by focusing on value addition and advanced practices.

What climate is best for growing kiwi?
Kiwi fruit originates from East Asia. They love sunshine and grow best in climates that are consistently warm. In more temperate climates we can still enjoy good results by growing them against a sunny wall where they can romp away to reach/ get this – 10m (30ft) tall.
