A state-of-the-art Sports Complex has been inaugurated at Tuting, Upper Siang District, under Operation Sadbhavana, in collaboration with the Deputy Commissioner and Spear Corps of the Indian Army.

The facility features a FIFA-standard Futsal Court, two Volleyball Courts with all-weather surfaces, and an eco-friendly design, fostering sports development and sustainability.

More than just a sports arena, the complex will serve as a hub for training, inter-village tournaments, cultural events, and social gatherings, strengthening youth engagement and community bonds.

What is the role of sports in nation building?
Sport can contribute greatly to nation building by fostering national pride and unity when citizens support their national teams. However, poor behavior by participants and spectators, such as violence, can undermine these benefits and harm nation building.
