A state-of-the-art Sports Complex has been inaugurated at Tuting, Upper Siang District, under Operation Sadbhavana, in collaboration with the Deputy Commissioner and Spear Corps of the Indian Army.

The facility features a FIFA-standard Futsal Court, two Volleyball Courts with all-weather surfaces, and an eco-friendly design, fostering sports development and sustainability.

More than just a sports arena, the complex will serve as a hub for training, inter-village tournaments, cultural events, and social gatherings, strengthening youth engagement and community bonds.

How do sports help in the development of nationalism?
Most sports are contested between national teams,which encourages the use of sporting events for nationalist purposes,whether intentionally or not. The signalling of national solidarity through sport is one of the primary forms of banal nationalism.
