Arunachal Pradesh is known for its natural beauty and warm, friendly communities. To keep our villages clean and healthy, the Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Shri Ojing Tasing, has inaugurated the Clean Model Village Kebang Solé in Siang district. This initiative is part of the #SwachhtaHiSeva campaign.
Under this project, 12 villages in Siang district will be developed as Clean Model Villages. The aim is to improve sanitation, waste management, and hygiene while encouraging people to work together to care for their surroundings. A clean environment leads to better health, more tourism, and a happier life for all.
Let us discuss how we can support and strengthen such efforts so that more villages in Arunachal can become model examples for others.
1. What can we do to keep our villages clean every day?
2. How can students and youth help in spreading cleanliness awareness?
3. What are some simple ways to manage waste in rural areas?
