Infrastructure and Connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh

A nation's infrastructure directly impacts its economy because it provides a range of amenities such as housing, health care, education, and other necessities that help boost human performance. Improvement in infrastructure contributes towards the transformation of everyday services like electricity, transportation, communication, etc. It also raises demand in production sectors like agriculture, horticulture and tourism amongst others. It is likely that the inadequate and inefficient infrastructure will impede sustained economic growth, particularly in rural areas, in the absence of any changes.

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh is constantly working towards convenience and ease of living for its citizens by focusing on and transforming the infrastructure sector in the state. The state government aims to provide equal and accessible governance to all sections of society, hence, the first step to making a change is by building infrastructure. To bring transformation, the honourable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu has inaugurated several projects in the state to further strengthen our infrastructures such as under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, a newly constructed 20.6 km long road from Parsi Parlo HQs to Yalluha and a steel truss built up girder with composite RCC decking bridge over Rashik river.
