Currently the connectivity scenario in the State is in dire need of attention from all quarters. Good and reliable connectivity is the need of the hour. Despite all the efforts put forward by Centre and State Government through Dept of IT & Communication, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh for mitigating the gap of digital connectivity in the State, numerous bottlenecks and challenges are shrouding the connectivity infrastructure development efforts at this point of time when parallelly road infrastructure development in the State is being carried out in full swing. Cable cut and cable damage due to expansion of road or digging of drainage or landslides and flood are playing spoilsport in one way or the other.

In order to augment reliable internet connectivity to enable farther reach to remote pockets of Arunachal Pradesh until major road infrastructure development is complete and stabilized, people participation in suggesting a way to bring new technology solution for bridging the gap of IT divide would hold utmost importance.

Please provide your suggestions for improving Internet Connectivity in the State.

Improving OFC connection in these terrain seems to be a hard job, but if govt will allow private sectors to enter and bloom in state like the jio is doing, then certainly the issue of internet connectivity will be resolved upto 60-70%. If we talk about remote pockets of the state, then we cant expect them to use a desktop or laptop to access internet but, yes a handheld device is very common. So, in that regard only a mobile network providing atleast 3G serviceswould be a great solution. Invite.
