The well-built security and safety of a region provides a strong resilience against internal as well as external threats. To ensure this, the Arunachal Pradesh Police have been thriving towards providing essential and immediate services to the citizens 24/7.
However, the pandemic has caused disruptions in many essential public services being catered to the public; one such being safety & security related services. With a motive to restore the same, CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems), Cloud Data Centre, Citizen Services Portal & User Manual has been launched by the Arunachal Pradesh Police on 7th of December 2021.
It is a project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) which aims to create a comprehensive and integrated system for effective policing through e-Governance. It is not only committed to simplify service access and responses/assistance online from the police authorities, but will also help avail general services like getting petitions registered, applying for certificates, verifications and permissions etc.
Through this topic, we invite our citizens to share their valued opinions on how this new development can be a major boost in reinforcing law and order in the state. Also, what else can be initiated by the governing authority to ensure safety in the state.
