Arunachal Pradesh is steadily building a stronger innovation ecosystem to support entrepreneurship, local enterprise, and self-reliance. In a major step in this direction, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art ‘Do It Yourself’ (DIY) Lab at the Arunachal Pradesh Innovation and Investment Park (APIIP).
Equipped with advanced product prototyping infrastructure, including 3D printers, electronic tools, food quality testing equipment, and a dedicated branding zone, the DIY Lab is designed to help startups and innovators develop, test, and refine their ideas before moving towards commercial manufacturing.
This initiative reflects the State Government’s growing commitment to innovation-led development, entrepreneurship, and job creation. By providing access to modern technology, product development support, and mentorship opportunities, the facility can empower aspiring entrepreneurs, nurture local talent, and create new pathways for economic growth. It also has the potential to help young innovators transform creative ideas into practical solutions tailored to local needs and market opportunities.
