The launch of the Indigenous Mobile Library, “The Kitabi Express,” by the District Library in Bomdila marks an inspiring step toward inclusive education in Arunachal Pradesh. By delivering books directly to the doorsteps of rural students, this initiative addresses one of the most pressing challenges in remote areas, such as limited access to quality reading materials. In many far-flung villages, students often lack libraries, bookstores, and adequate learning resources. “The Kitabi Express” bridges this gap, nurturing curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love for reading.
Beyond simply distributing books, the mobile library symbolizes equal opportunity. It ensures that geography does not become a barrier to knowledge. Promoting reading habits among children and young learners, it strengthens foundational skills, boosts confidence, and contributes to overall academic growth. Importantly, it also fosters a culture where learning extends beyond classrooms and becomes part of everyday life within communities.

"Kitaabi Express" would definitely bring a new revolution in the interest of Reading among the enthusiasts in Bomdila, the hilly terrain where I had studied till mid of Class V. I miss Bomdila so much!!! Such initiatives were not taken during that time... Anyways, Government needs to be applauded!
