Football is the most popular and beloved sport in Arunachal Pradesh. Many talented footballers have emerged from Arunachal Pradesh and went on to represent Indian football clubs in various competitions. In recent years, martial arts have also gained recognition in the sports industry, and many athletes from Arunachal Pradesh have represented India in international competitions. Arunachal's teams such as- the Karate-do team, Wushu team, MMA team etc have performed well and brought accolades both at national and international platforms.
