A major milestone in Arunachal Pradesh’s journey toward educational empowerment has been marked by the inauguration of the Free UPSC Coaching Centre (Super 50) by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein. This visionary initiative, launched by the Tai Khamti–Singpho Council and its sister organisations, in collaboration with Study IQ, Delhi, aims to bridge the gap for aspiring civil servants from the region.

The Super 50 programme stands as a beacon of hope for meritorious students, particularly those who face economic or geographical barriers to accessing quality UPSC coaching. By offering free, high-quality training and mentorship, it seeks to create a level playing field and prepare the next generation of leaders from Arunachal Pradesh to excel on the national stage.

The success of such a programme could potentially inspire similar models across other districts and sectors, strengthening the state’s overall educational ecosystem.

Join the Discussion on MyGov:

1. How can local communities and institutions collaborate to ensure the long-term success of the Super 50 initiative?

2. What additional support systems—such as personality development, interview training, or scholarships—should accompany the coaching?

3. Should similar “Super 50” models be introduced for other competitive exams like NEET, JEE, or state services?
