The RIWATCH Centre for Mother Languages recently organized a workshop dedicated to the documentation and preservation of the Kaman Mishmi language and culture. The workshop highlighted the critical importance of authenticating and validating collected data to ensure its accuracy. Audiovisual recordings were also made for future phonological and phonetic analysis, further contributing to the long-term preservation of this valuable cultural heritage.
