Skill Development and Entrepreneurship development efforts across the country have been highly fragmented so far. Though India enjoys the demographic advantage of having the youngest workforce with an average age of 29 years in comparison with the advanced economies, as opposed to the developed countries, where the percentage of skilled workforce is between 60% and 90% of the total workforce, India records a low 5% of workforce (20-24 years) with formal employability skills.

The development of our hard and soft skills go side by side. If we are skilled enough to complete our task then it is the best way to empower the youth. Instead running behind the queue, we must discover our interest and uniqueness and should try our best to master our talent as following the passion please our soul. These spiritual fulfillment will encourage us to achieve new heights which will not only make us economically stable but it also generate employment to others.

Not all of us are having the talent to inherit the skills that are required to perform our daily task, and most of us have obviously acquired it in due course of time. Skill Development as promoted by Government is an excellent opportunity for young talents who are specially starting their career, to learn new skill-set in interest of their choice, hone it, and nurture it, and to become an expert in that category.
