The Department of Tirap, Changlang and Longding Affairs has launched a free civil services coaching programme in collaboration with Sarvasyas IAS Academy, Itanagar, for aspirants from the three districts.
The initiative aims to provide quality coaching, expert guidance and mentorship to help students prepare for competitive examinations, improve their chances of success, and encourage more youth to pursue careers in the civil services.
For many talented students in Arunachal Pradesh, especially those from remote areas, access to quality coaching and mentorship remains a challenge. Programmes like this can bridge that gap by providing equal opportunities and helping deserving aspirants compete with confidence.
Join the Discussion on MyGov Arunachal Pradesh:
- Should free civil services coaching programmes be introduced in every district of Arunachal Pradesh?
- What are the biggest challenges faced by civil services aspirants in the state?
- What additional support, apart from coaching, would help students prepare for competitive examinations?

Arguments Against or Challenges:-
1. Resource Strain:- Setting up quality centers everywhere stretches state budgets and teacher availability.
2. Digital Alternatives:- High-speed internet allows online coaching, making physical brick-and-mortar schools in every single district less cost-effective.
3. Quality Control:- Maintaining high academic standards across remote outposts is difficult.
