Recently, Chief Minister Pema Khandu launched the Matsya e-Vaahini and e-Rickshaw Initiative to strengthen market access for fish farmers across Arunachal Pradesh. The initiative aims to support direct sales to consumers, reduce transportation challenges, improve price realization and help fish farmers increase their income.
It also promotes eco-friendly fish transportation while reducing dependence on middlemen. With better access to markets and improved transportation, the initiative can help fish farmers reach consumers more efficiently and create better opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
