Today, we all know that the whole world is facing the challenge and threat posed by the growing pandemic of COVID 19 – second wave. In such situation, our state government is constantly working to take all necessary steps to reduce every challenge and every threat posed by COVID 19. At the same time, the government also cares for every citizen that in this situation they should not face any kind of trouble. For this, all emergency services will work 24X7. Citizens have the most important role in stopping the spread of this virus locally, in such a situation, it is the responsibility of every citizen today to exercise caution and follow all the rules as per all the government-issued advice.
As a citizen and community, we want you to always take the necessary precautions through the following tasks-
Stay at home.
Double Mask while stepping out of home.
Wash your hands regularly and sanitize frequently.
Always use a handkerchief or your arm while sneezing.
Avoid touching your face without washing your hands.
Always keep a certain distance.
The most important factor in preventing the spread of the Virus locally is to empower the citizens with the right information and taking precautions as per the advisories being issued by the Health Department.
We want you to participate in fighting this virus. My Gov Arunachal Pradesh is inviting the ideas and suggestion to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the surge of second wave. These can include innovative and best practices regarding hygiene, social distancing and preventing spread of rumours and being prepared rather than panicking. The testing is done at the entry gate but many people start showing symptoms only after 4-5 days and until then they will roam around getting in touch with many people. Arunachal should start those quarantine centers where people can be kept for at least 5 days, though it will be an additional cost but in absence of robust health infrastructure it would be worth if states starts seeing overwhelming number of cases from within the community.
